Dear Dumbass Who Hacked My Ebay Account
While I certainly appreciate your efforts to make me some extra cash, I’m going to have to correct you on something. I don’t use my ebay account a whole lot, so suddenly making 106 listings is one morning is going to throw up a FEW red flags, dontcha think?
And Ipod Nanos? Sooooooooo last year.
If you are going to put me in the news, I’d much rather become known as the woman who ripped off 106 people for something cool, like those dolphin-shaped vibrators. Heck, since I don’t have one either, could we make it 107 dolphin-shaped vibrators?
And if you want my account to get that much exposure, drop my blog link in there next time too, would ya mind? Couldn’t hurt.
Thanks so much,
Sara

I’m scared of ebay.
And this would be why. I’ll stick to shopping and selling the old fashioned way.

I’ve gotten a few scary emails from ebay people like this too. Scary - ebay is pretty good about working it all out though - don’t you think? Hey while you’re at it… make it 108 dolphins!

That happened to me too, someone selling jeeps for 99p each. eBay sorted it all out for me tho. Hope you got it sorted too! (and make it 109…!)

Happened to me with eBay and PayPal both. Can’t say as either of them were very helpful. The sending me to collections part really kind of corked it though. Won’t use either ever again.

So sorry that happened.

For us it’s paypal, not ebay that seems to be causing waves.
Cheers

Yeah, if they are going to be such a dumbass they could at least be a thoughtful dumbass and promo your blog! duh!

That happened to me…they were selling boot-legged copies of Sex and the City. Ebay cleared it up.
Sorry, that sucks!

I thought that deal sounded too good to be true. So I’m not getting the Nano, right?

Oh no! I’m so sorry that happened to you! I think I’m going to change my eBay password now while it’s on my mind.
(Sorry, but I can’t help but laugh at Patois’ comment, even though the situation sucks!)
