I’m Sorry, Really
I’m so sorry, but it has got to be said.
Enough with the hot pink pedicure already!
I don’t know what fashionista out there decreed that henceforth all toenails should be a shade of pink that would make even the Brat Pack cringe, but I’m telling you, it’s not working. Hot pink is a color very few people can pull off, and it being on your feet does not make it any less so.
Please, please, put down the Strawberry Fields OPI and back away slowly.

OOPS! GUILTY! But my hot pink is more of a fuschia shade than that. Of course, I still wear a purply-black color on my toes most of the time, but I like to switch it up with hot pink from time to time.

Thank you. That is all.

LOL Janice! Mine is currently lilac, although I don’t know if ‘chipped so bad it’s hardly there’ is considered a color or not. I just know the day-glo toes are killing me!!

*raises hand* Guilty!
I had hot pink just last week- then I got a polish change - to a light glitter pink. LOL

I think you need some hot pink therapy Sara. I’m going to paint my toes hot pink just for you!
Jennifer Jul 26th 2007 at 06:02 am 7
No can do, Sara. I loves me some hot pink toes. And Andi, I thought I knew you. Apparently not.

I’m going to hide my bottle of Opi Dutch Tulips right now. Nobody messes with Tulipmom and her Dutch Tulips

I always use I’m Not Really A Waitress red. I’m too old for pink toes.

I’m with Julia, that’s the color I use (I’m Not Really a Waitress- OPI). I’ve worn it for years, it’s reallly classic and pretty. I wouldn’t wear it on my fingernails, but it is perfect for toes! Hot pink doesn’t look good on my toes.

LOL, Day-Glo toes! That could be the new OPI color. I’m wearing 25 years of colorful.

Uh, yeah, especially on those of us women of color. Probably not a good look

I am with you sista! I am a “natural” kind of toe wearing girl… not because I want to be though, I just don’t have time to go get a pedi what with all of these damn kids I have! *Sigh* If I would though, I may just put on the hot pink to delude myself into thinking that I am young and hip and hot to trot. “Natural” just makes me feel like a mom. Excuse me while I go put my mom jeans on and my elastic-shot bra…

oh, but i just so adore pink!
Tina Jul 27th 2007 at 09:16 pm 15
Mine is dusty rose LOL. But I have nothing against the hot stuff.

That’s the one my six year old always picks out for me when accompanying me to the salon. I tell him that I’ll pick the Barbie Doll color next time. I pretty much only do french on my toes in the summer - holds up better than a straight color.

NO!!! I can’t I love my pink toes!
