It Was All Good, Until It Wasn’t.
Lesson learned- Just because Blogtalk Radio tells you you can continue recording up to 2 hours beyond your alloted timeslot, does not mean people will be able to hear you that long!
Podcast was fun last night. The figment of our imaginations made her first appearance and did a fantastic job. The discussion was going well and we had real! live! listeners!
We discussed the hospital formula bag ban and its impact on breastfeeding, and briefly delved into some of the bad advice we have gotten on breastfeeding ourselves. (Look for future episodes on this, there is a LOT more to explore there, drop me an email with your own story!) Only we scheduled it for 30 minutes, and when 30 minutes was up, no one could hear us. Doh!
Luckily the full episode was archived, so if you want to hear the rest of it, you can head on over and download the whole thing, or subscribe to the feed and listen to it in your Itunes or Google reader.
Wanted to give special thanks to Redsy for the thought provoking article on the ban, she is a fantastic writer and has given us a lot to talk about over this! Also, thanks to Motherhood Uncensored for giving mention to a post at Moms Daily Dose today that has given me a little more to think about on this whole issue.
Check out the links, and find last night’s discussion here.

Ah ha! Thanks for posting the explanation Sara- I was happily listening, and laughing and then I wasn’t…. I thought it might have been our new internet connection.

Good, now I don’t feel so bad that I missed it. I hope to listen to it today.

I’m really wanting to listen to it, but I am on holidays at my parents’ place and sans husband, so I may not get to hear it for a couple of weeks.
I have LOTS to say about nurses and breastfeeding, though…

It’s all fun and games and we’re still learning how to play. Now we know some shows may require an hour!
