You Hurt Your…What?
Brendan just came up to me and told me “Mommy, I hurt my feelings.”
“Where are your feelings?” I ask, since he obviously is not understanding what the phrase means.
Sighs like I am the dumbest person on the planet.
“Right here, in my belly!” as he points to his tummy.
Moral of the story? The way to a man’s heart really IS through his stomach.
