Shhhhh…Damian has decided he is ready to potty train. He wore underwear to school last Thursday, and has been wearing them daily ever since, with only a handful of accidents. Tonight he flat out refused to wear a diaper to bed, so we compromised with a Pull-Up and me waking him to potty at 11pm.
Cross fingers, we may have this done by Thanksgiving!

Whispering back… that is FANTASTIC! We’re still on again, off again, but she’s been pretty dry with her pull-ups for the last few days. I think the thing that gets her to the potty is the handwashing and playing with soap right after.

we went directly to using bed pads (absorbant liners over the fitted sheet)
so my girl never had to wear diapers at night while potty training.
Only one accident – and it built her confidence too. She never even knew i put them there.

Congrats! I need to be a little more on the ball… My youngest is potty training and uses the potty by herself but I forget to ask if she needs to go and she is busy playing… I should ask her before bed too. Dhu.

Sara, I just learned this lesson. You don’t blog about sensitive shit like potty training or sleeping through the night. You. Just. Don’t. Because, sure as shit, once you do…BAM…it’s back to square one.
