Suburban Oblivion

I’m so over Halloween, and thanks to my children, I want the holiday banned until the youngest is at least 12.

But Sara, Halloween is fun! The costumes, the candy, the cheesiness! It’s so much fun!

Yes it is. What is not fun is the day-after Halloween hangover my boys got. Being up till almost 8:30, a full hour after their normal bedtime, you’d *think* they’d have been tired, and maybe slept a little later today. What you wouldn’t think they would do is get up a half hour earlier than normal, resulting in the worst case of crankiness here I’ve had in awhile. The kind that has me calling them assholes under my breath and threatening to sell them on E-bay.

Also….My husband has dropped 10 lbs in like 2 weeks. I’m thrilled for him, but the jealousy is eating me alive! I have GOT to get off my ass, because I can’t have him making me look bad! Help me ladies, what are your secrets??

I’ve updated the links on the previous post for those I have who have written about Bill Maher’s ridiculous comments on breastfeeding in public. Update…Move-in day went off without a hitch. Everyone was nice, and I got way more volunteer signups than I expected. Go me!

Answer to yesterday’s question…Amanda was closest, Brendan has been addicted to a Kirby game, and Ian was trying to explain to me how it works. Had he been speaking of my own body the post would have been much different I assure you

As for the announcement…My tummy is in knots I am so nervous about this one. The Queen, the Playgroupie, Velveteen Mind and I have teamed up to start doing podcasts! As you might expect from us, it’s a very relaxed, no rules kind of deal. We talk about what we want whether it’s on topic or not, we use bad language if we feel like it, and somehow every conversation ends up being about sex. It’s like attending a moms night out right through your speakers! So go ahead and check us out(maybe with headphones if there are little ears around) and let us know what topics you’d like to hear about for future shows!

Oh good god, they are on the radio!!
